Joyce Dubay is a native Maine artist, painting Maine subjects. Her works include; landscape, animals (wild and domestic), coastal, floral and still life. She always paints in a realistic style, preferring, but she also works in watercolor, pen and ink, and colored pencils. Joyce being a very versatile in both subject matter and media, sometimes combines her mediums. She is attracted to paint subjects all around her and often paints on location.

Joyce also does commissions and is a primarily a self taught artist. She has won many ribbons, trophies and awards during her forty years of painting. This includes Best of Shows (totaling 12) at the Franklin County Fair, Mid-Maine Art Show in Skowhegan, Jay Sidewalk Art Show and Madison kiwanis Springfest. For two consecutive years her work was juried into an international exhibits exchange of the sister cities of Farmington, Maine and Lac Megantic, Canada; and Douran France.
